the program

The Dkids Basketball Program will follow the Dkids Foundation Quality of Life program model.

Dkids Tennis delivers diabetes education, care, awareness and recreational exercise for youths living with type 1 diabetes who love tennis and their families.

Featuring a robust staff of dedicated and expert medical, sport and support teams, the Dkids Tennis program provides activities and education for participants and family members spread over the course of 3 days.

Players and parents alike benefit from a Dkids Tennis program.

Whether it's from 6 hours of education and exercise per day for the players, the full-day diabetes education program dedicated to parents and family members or making new friends at family events, Dkids Tennis aims to fulfill its promise of making tomorrow better today.

Bringing together a loving, caring T1D community with a passion for tennis and diabetes.

Each program will be hosted at a  quality venue that matches the needs of the program and will accommodate our staff and participants.

Liability insurance covers each program insuring all participants are more than taken care of in case of an injury or other situation.

The most important investment we make is in the quality of our staff. We believe in people power which is why have between 40-50 staff members per program.

Eating right isn't just for managing your diabetes, but also a key in helping you become a better athlete.

Integrated diabetes and nutrition education, care and support are provided throughout the program, including during activities.

Program equipment, participant merchandise, photography, marketing and other elements round out the program.

If you are interested in supporting a Dkids Tennis program, please consider donating. If you would like to make a larger contribution, please contact us.
